We started at “Soi Cowboy”, a short road and very busy. It‘s next to Sukhumvit 19 Rd.(or Asoke Road.) Lots of go go-girls are walking to welcome customers to visit their bars. Most night girls go to bed nearly dawn and get up in the afternoon. If you go early you may find them walk around, eating, do make up and get dresses. Nightlife in Bangkok starts at around 10 pm. ,it is perfect time for get out for most night activities, so get enough eat and rest. We find some bars are very popular, full of nice girls but the night is so young and our target place is Phatpong, the legend. We keep walking around that area, take BTSto Nana (one stop from Asoke) there, we find many people from different countries; India (as locals), Africa, Middle East, Russia also some countries near by. So you can imagine how “Nana” looks like. The mixing of cultures is very interesting as well as the entertainments around here, beer bars, clubs, go go bars and etc.

We arrived at Phatpong, Silom road by BTS (Sky Train), it is about 5 stops from Nana (changed to MRT, subway train, at Saim.) Phatpong is various of entertaining, clubs, bars, go go bars, gay bars, lady’s clubs and lots of Karaoke clubs for Japanese and Korean at “Taniya” next to Phatpong. Phatpong is surrounding with offices in the very busy area in Bangkok. Some people and tourists enjoy shopping cheap products and souvenirs in that area.

At Phatpong, many customers are foreigners. It is a short road but we take such long time to get to the end of the road, we want to see all and pick one of them. In most bars we can see gogo girls dancing on the stage with the poles and all of them are wearing very small shorts or little pieces of bikini. We find most bars are very interesting, decoration and girls. Finally we get into a bar on the 2^nd floor, it is so clouded inside. We enjoy drinking and dancing with go go girls for some time, then the shows is started. The shows are Sexy, Ugly and funn , the ugly is the show that a woman opens a bottle of beer with her Jimmy. (Thai people call that woman thing as “Jim”) and she try to splash the water from the bottle to customers. I wonder what so fun about that? So dirty and disgusting. The funny is fine, like the show of Alcasa or Tiffany at Pattaya. The sexy is the best part, girls perform their shower activity in a small bathroom. With bubbles on their sexy bodies and all over the places, it is real nice so far. After the show, one nice girl who performs in the bathroom join with our group and that make our team almost hit the ceiling. We drink and dance with the girl and her friend until 1 am. The bar is closed am. She asks us if any one of us would like to have fun with her on the upper floor. She explains that the rooms are for private services, some people do the private dancing and mostly end up with sexual service while she is dancing. The dancing is fine but to do more than that we don’t brave enough to do so. She may give the service to lots of customers and that scare us. Khaosan road is located in central Bangkok. It is convenience to walk to Banglamphu (Whole sale market) and closed to the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew and many famous tourist attractions. It has been known for backpackers with cheap accommodation, mattress in a box, style hostels, in the most busy traffic area. Night time at Khaosan road is terrific. It has developed over the years in both lifestyles and its surrounding. Songkran festival here, is very popular too.

We are not going to talk about low cost accommodation or street food around here, let others do their own parts. Why it is so popular and still? Apart from the reasons above, we are talking about going at night time and getting some fun. This area is like a portal town, visitors come and go in the next day. Unlike Phatpong because it obviously has less bars around here. Tourists come from many countries and some people may get a new friend easily. They are in such good mood because mostly are on vacation and would like to have the most enjoyable time ,this could be one good thing as a nice meeting point for people from different places around the world.

Surprisingly, this place has become more popular by local people. They come to this area to eat and meet people. Some Thai girls are hanging out among friends as favorite place to enjoy the night. They come after work or studying, so they are not for sell. Khaosan road is a magic place, it brings people together. You may come cross a nice woman here. On the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar or western calendar is at around the beginning of November. Many Thai believe that floating “krathong” a raft, decorated with banana leaves, flowers, candles and incense sticks and any object that Thai people believe floating “Krathong” will create good luck to themselves and family and also to honor and thank the Goddess of Water who gives us water to stay alive. Thai people enjoy festivals and celebration, it means “time to take a break.” Friend and relative gather together and go out at the night to Loy(float) Krathong.

Believe it or not,
lovers use this activity to make a commitment to each others and the water or the Goddess of the Water becomes the witness for their loves. They will do it together and keep looking at their krathongs which suppose to go along side by side together at all time, ideally. This is a great opportunity for a man who fall in love with a girl and try to make the relationship more promising.

I once took a friend from other country to enjoy night life in Bangkok.

This days the coyote club is so popular (still now) then we decided to try different places.
“The Pent”, “The Resort” and the last one “the Sophrano” all of them are full of beautiful girls; the Dancers, the PR and the Lady. Follow with the show by the models from men’s magazines, they were in different costumes and mostly small pieces. And if the one you keep looking is shown up you can have a chat with her and give her drinks to keep her for yourself. Then she will dance in front of you like your own private show, just keep feeding her the necessary drinks. These girls are so good at drinking.

The club was closed at around 2.00, I and my friend stood in front of the club and it was the first time we could talk normally, so loud inside. He surprised me by showing the phone number “the singer” with an appointment, a dinner. We laugh and laugh, louder and louder.

We are excited all day because today we are going to pay a visit to a special spa club. Normally we quite familiar with the Thai Traditional Spa that we have been using service quite a lots. But this one is different, one of my friend promises that we will find a nice surprise there. So he will bring us to experience a new spa service at Shukhumvit road. There are lots of spa rooms in that area, most customers are foreigner, Japanese and Korean. We got into a small road and find a big building, about 100 meters from the main road. The place is well decorated and classy. We are surprised to see lots of beautiful girls are sitting around, keep smiling and waiting to be chosen. After my friend select the girls and type of services, then they got into small separated rooms. I still find difficult to select a girl because most nice girls are gone for work, suddenly some one new step into the room. Wow, that would be the best I have ever seen so far. The face is lovely, her body is excellent.
