We started at “Soi Cowboy”, a short road and very busy. It‘s next to Sukhumvit 19 Rd.(or Asoke Road.) Lots of go go-girls are walking to welcome customers to visit their bars. Most night girls go to bed nearly dawn and get up in the afternoon. If you go early you may find them walk around, eating, do make up and get dresses. Nightlife in Bangkok starts at around 10 pm. ,it is perfect time for get out for most night activities, so get enough eat and rest. We find some bars are very popular, full of nice girls but the night is so young and our target place is Phatpong, the legend. We keep walking around that area, take BTSto Nana (one stop from Asoke) there, we find many people from different countries; India (as locals), Africa, Middle East, Russia also some countries near by. So you can imagine how “Nana” looks like. The mixing of cultures is very interesting as well as the entertainments around here, beer bars, clubs, go go bars and etc.
We arrived at Phatpong, Silom road by BTS (Sky Train), it is about 5 stops from Nana (changed to MRT, subway train, at Saim.) Phatpong is various of entertaining, clubs, bars, go go bars, gay bars, lady’s clubs and lots of Karaoke clubs for Japanese and Korean at “Taniya” next to Phatpong. Phatpong is surrounding with offices in the very busy area in Bangkok. Some people and tourists enjoy shopping cheap products and souvenirs in that area.
At Phatpong, many customers are foreigners. It is a short road but we take such long time to get to the end of the road, we want to see all and pick one of them. In most bars we can see gogo girls dancing on the stage with the poles and all of them are wearing very small shorts or little pieces of bikini. We find most bars are very interesting, decoration and girls. Finally we get into a bar on the 2nd floor, it is so clouded inside. We enjoy drinking and dancing with go go girls for some time, then the shows is started. The shows are Sexy, Ugly and funn , the ugly is the show that a woman opens a bottle of beer with her Jimmy. (Thai people call that woman thing as “Jim”) and she try to splash the water from the bottle to customers. I wonder what so fun about that? So dirty and disgusting. The funny is fine, like the show of Alcasa or Tiffany at Pattaya. The sexy is the best part, girls perform their shower activity in a small bathroom. With bubbles on their sexy bodies and all over the places, it is real nice so far. After the show, one nice girl who performs in the bathroom join with our group and that make our team almost hit the ceiling. We drink and dance with the girl and her friend until 1 am. The bar is closed am. She asks us if any one of us would like to have fun with her on the upper floor. She explains that the rooms are for private services, some people do the private dancing and mostly end up with sexual service while she is dancing. The dancing is fine but to do more than that we don’t brave enough to do so. She may give the service to lots of customers and that scare us. Dancing with touching and end up without having sex is alright, what we scare is her body, too sexy. If she is dancing in front of you, necked and alone in private, I bet you could not blink an eye and the sole would totally controlled by the dark side.
